Joyce Cheng is associate professor of art history at the University of Oregon and author of The Persistence of Masks: Surrealism and the Ethnography of the Subject, now available from the University of Minnesota Press here.
Catherine L. Hansen is assistant professor in the Center for Global Education (GlobE) at the University of Tokyo, where she teaches writing, literature, and game studies. She is a researcher of global surrealism and the European avant-garde, and a writer of scholarly metafiction. She received her PhD in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, and has lived, worked, and taught in Beirut, Paris, New York, and the Carolinas. Her book Powers of No: The Infra Noir Surrealist Group, the Postwar Avant-garde, and the Daily Practice of Revolution is forthcoming from the University of Minnesota Press.
Jonathan P. Eburne, series editor, is J. H. Hexter Professor in the Humanities at Washington University in St. Louis. He is author, most recently, of Exploded Views: Speculative Form and the Labor of Inquiry, available here.
