ISSS Glasgow 2026: Conference Programme and Registration

We are very pleased to share the Conference Programme for ISSS Glasgow 2026.

The conference will take place in Scotland on the University of Glasgow’s Main Campus (Gilmorehill Campus) over Tuesday 18-Thursday 20 August inclusive.​

Registration

Conference Registration is live at the ISSS website, via the platform MemberPlanet.

Two rates are available: a Regular Rate at £150; and a Reduced Rate at £95 (students, independent scholars/artists, Non-Tenure-Track Faculty, colleagues based in countries listed as LMIC).

We ask all colleagues planning to attend the conference to please ensure that your ISSS membership is up to date. Current membership is required of all presenters.

Please find below further key practical details about the conference.

Regarding accommodation, do note the short summer stays offered by the University of Glasgow Accommodation Services.

• The conference will take place in Scotland on the University of Glasgow’s Main Campus (Gilmorehill Campus) over Tuesday 18-Thursday 20 August inclusive. Key venues for the conference will be the James McCune Smith Learning Hub (JMS), and in the Mazumdar Shaw Advanced Research Centre (ARC).

• Attendees are responsible for their travel arrangements and accommodation.
